Praxis Health's 2027 Insurance Network: What You Need to Know

Praxis Health is finalizing which insurance carriers we’ll be in network with for 2027, ahead of the usual timeline, so patients have time to plan rather than face a surprise mid-year change. If your current plan is affected, your care team isn’t changing, but you will need to choose a new in-network plan. This comes amid a wave of disruption across the health insurance industry, and we’d rather finalize our network now than wait for the market to settle. Here’s everything you need to know.

Frequently Asked Questions

Praxis Health will be in network with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, PacificSource, Moda, and Regence BlueCross BlueShield in 2027, with additional partnerships expected to be announced soon. Praxis Health is in ongoing negotiations with United Healthcare* for Oregon in 2027. Providence and Health Net are also no longer offering insurance in 2027, which affects their members everywhere, not just at Praxis Health. For a full list of our insurance carriers view our sidebar.

Praxis is focused on aligning with insurers that support strong access to care for our patients.

No. Your care team is not changing. What’s changing is which insurance plans we’re in network with.

Choosing the right health insurance plan is an important decision, especially with the changes happening across Oregon’s healthcare market. Provider networks, benefits, costs, and access to specialists can vary significantly between plans.

At Praxis Health, we can help you understand which insurance plans our clinics accept, but we do not recommend one insurance plan over another.

Need help reviewing your Medicare options?

Praxis Health works with trusted, local licensed Medicare insurance agents who can help you compare available plans, understand your benefits, and make an informed decision based on your healthcare needs.

Connect with a local Medicare insurance agent:

  • Portland Metro: Dwayne Scales — 503-330-9005
  • Eugene & Southern Willamette Valley: WIX Agency — 503-255-5450
  • Salem & Mid-Willamette Valley: O’Leary Health — 203-339-7596

These agents can help you explore your Medicare options, including which plans cover your preferred Praxis Health providers and specialists.

Praxis Health does not sell insurance or endorse any specific insurance plan. You are welcome to work with any licensed insurance agent of your choosing. Your choice of agent does not affect the care you receive at Praxis Health. Access to services remains subject to your insurance coverage and provider network.

You can always call 1-800-MEDICARE for more information.

Medicare Annual Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7. If you have an ACA marketplace or employer-sponsored plan, your enrollment period follows later this fall, on a different timeline. Medicaid and CCO members should confirm their coverage directly with their clinic, since those timelines can differ too.

Not necessarily. An insurance carrier’s own provider directory isn’t always current and may not yet reflect our 2027 changes. The most accurate, up to date list of who we’re in network with is always at GoPraxisHealth.com/insurance-updates.

No. If you have Original Medicare, you can choose any Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan you like. Supplements work alongside Original Medicare and don’t have their own networks, so the Medicare Advantage plans we are or aren’t in network with have no effect on your supplement. We bill Medicare, and your supplement is handled separately.
