Praxis Health's 2027 Insurance Network: What You Need to Know
Praxis Health is finalizing which insurance carriers we’ll be in network with for 2027, ahead of the usual timeline, so patients have time to plan rather than face a surprise mid-year change. If your current plan is affected, your care team isn’t changing, but you will need to choose a new in-network plan. This comes amid a wave of disruption across the health insurance industry, and we’d rather finalize our network now than wait for the market to settle. Here’s everything you need to know.

Praxis Health will be in network with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, PacificSource, Moda, and Regence BlueCross BlueShield in 2027, with additional partnerships expected to be announced soon. Praxis Health will not be contracting with United Healthcare* for 2027. Medicare Advantage No. Starting January 1, 2027, Praxis Health will no longer be in network with United Healthcare.

Praxis is focused on ensuring we align with insurers that can provide access to care along with reasonable agreements with independent practices. The main driving factors for certain changes in 2027 are declining specialist access and claims denial rates that are concerning for our patients.
No. Your care team is not changing. What’s changing is which insurance plans we’re in network with.
There’s no perfect insurance plan. Network strength varies by community, coverage differs between Medicare Advantage and commercial plans, and things like prior authorization and referral approval all affect your day to day access to care. For commercial plans, our team can tell you which carriers we remain in network with. For Medicare Advantage, we can share the full list of in network options, but we’re not able to recommend one plan over another. A licensed broker, a SHIBA/SHIP counselor, or 1-800-MEDICARE can give you personalized advice.
Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7. If you have an ACA marketplace or employer-sponsored plan, your enrollment period follows later this fall, on a different timeline. Medicaid and CCO members should confirm their coverage directly with their clinic, since those timelines can differ too.
